Tournament Overview


Tournament Date: July 04, 2015

Tournament will be held by the Ipswich Silver Ball Pinball Club at Autographed Memorabilia store at Ipswich City Square. Please go to the Facebook page for more details.

There will be a total of $350 in prize money for the top three placings as follows: 1st place - $200; 2nd place - $100; 3rd place - $50.

Qualifying will start at 12pm and if you wish to get in any practise we will be open from 9am Saturday morning.
There is a 6 hour qualifying period and this is broken up into 3 time slots across three machines as followed: 1st Time slot - 12pm to 2pm; 2nd Time slot - 2:01pm to 4pm; 3rd Time Slot - 4:01pm to 6pm. You can only qualify once. Each game will cost $2 in the qualifying time. The highest scores on each machine from each qualifying period will go into the next round,You can only qualify once if you have a practise game in that period and beat someone's score that has not qualified then your score will not count.

The nine qualifiers will move into the Finals rounds and will be drawn out randomly into three group of 3 players.

First round of finals, each of the three groups will play each of the three machines once in 3 player games. Scores will be ranked from highest to lowest for each group. Highest ranked player from each group will advance to the next round.

Second round of finals, the three players will play one 3 player game on a randomly chosen machine with the lowest ranked player being knocked out and taking third place in the tournament.

The last two players play a best of three match to decide first and second place.
