Tournament Overview
Start Date: February 12, 2016

* Open to the top 32 ranked players for the 2015 season, which can be found here: http://www.ifpapinball.com/rankings/...iew.php?id=152
* Entry fee is $50 per player. All players must pre-pay by 31st January.
* Tournament should be completed by approx. 3pm Sunday afternoon.
QUALIFYING:
* Once all participants are finalized, the 32 players will be seeded based on their IFPA ACS position as of 31/12/15.
* The games chosen will be based on what is available at the Venue. (minimum 16 machines, list available soon)
* Qualifying will be played similar to the IFPA World Format and will consist of 18 games per player.
Players will be placed into groups of 4 once the seedings have been completed. (4 player games)
Each group will be assigned 3 games at random. Each game has the same points ... 7 for 1st, 5 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd, 1 for 4th
For the first 2 rounds, groupings are as follows:
1,16,17,32 .... 2,15,18,31 .... 3,14,19,30 .... 4,13,20,29 .... 5,12,21,28 .... 6,11,22,27 .... 7,10,23,26 .... 8,9,24,25
From then on, groupings are determined from the scoring after each round as follows:
1,2,3,4 .... 5,6,7,8 .... 9,10,11,12 .... 13,14,15,16 .... 17,18,19,20 .... 21,22,23,24 .... 25,26,27,28 .... 29,30,31,32
All games will be played as a 4-player game (unless machine is unable to allow it).
Player with the lowest score in a group after each game gets first choice at their player number for the next game,
the next lowest gets the next choice, and so on until all 4 players have decided.
There will be 6 qualifying rounds (18 games per player). The top 16 players will advance to the Finals on Sunday morning at 10am.
In the event that we have less than 32 players, finals numbers will be revised as to not go over the 50% IFPA requirement
FINALS:
* Open to the top 16 players.
* Contested under best-of-3 game double elimination match rules.
* Each match will be contested on the same machine for all 3 games. Higher seed has the right to choose the order for the first game, with the order changing after each game for that match.
* Finalists will be seeded based on their final qualifying placing.
* In the event that the undefeated finalist is beaten in the final match, they will have the right to enforce a repechage.
* The final match will be contested as a best-of-5 game match.
ACS PRIZE MONEY:
1st - 50% of prize money + Trophy
2nd - 30% of prize money + Trophy
3rd - 10% of prize money + Trophy
4th - 5% of prize money
5th - 5% of prize money
