Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: February 04, 2017
Quick Overview
Players compete in head to head matches over 3 or 4 hours. The player with the most wins and least losses at the end of the allotted time is declared the winner.
12pm start. $10 buy in.
Format Details
1. First, each machine is randomly assigned two players. The remaining players are placed in one central queue.
2. When a match is completed:
- the loser stays on the machine, unless he/she has lost twice consecutively, in which case the winner stays on.
- the person leaving the machine fills in the results sheet and initials the result. That person then heads to the rear of the queue.
- the player staying on the machine plays in the same position (P1/P2) as he/she played in the previous match.
- the player at the front of the queue moves up to compete against the player staying on the machine.
3. At the end of 3/4 hours no more games may start. Whoever wins the most games in that time is declared the winner. Ties will be broken by the fewest losses, if still tied, then head-to-head results and if still tied by a single game playoff on a machine.
4. Extra balls will be left on
5. All rulings and malfunctions will be based on the rules for the IFPA World Pinball Championship
