Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: May 20, 2018

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The Timezone Cooly Classic 2018 (May 18th-20th) and hosted by the Coolangatta Pinball Club presents The Cooly Classic Flip Frenzy (Comp #1) Tournament.

Tournament Directors: Hollie Mills, Peter Watt & Jason Lambert.

Tournament times: 10am - 1pm.

For information on accommodation near the event, click on the Website link on this page, where The Ocean Plaza hotel has provided some nice deals.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT DETAILS:

All players are entered into a random draw, with 2 players drawn to play each available machine.
First name chosen is the player 1. The rest of the players are placed in one central queue.

When a game is completed:
- The loser stays on the same machine, unless they have lost twice in a row, in which case the winner stays on.
- The player leaving the machine moves to the back of the queue.
- The player staying on the machine will always play as Player 1 in the next match.
- The player at the front of the queue moves up to play the player staying on.

At the end of three hours, no more games may start.
The winner is the player with the most games won.
Ties are broken by fewest losses.

There will be no cap on each Flip Frenzy at this stage, but may change depending on machine availability and space.
Late players are still welcome to attend and join in depending on availability, but you will be behind in games from everyone else.
