Format:

Best Game format, a popular qualifying format for pinball tournaments. The tournament will have a bank of 14 designated machines. Each competitor may play each pinball machine as many times as desired during the qualifying period. Only a player’s single highest score on each machine will be counted. Player’s best scores on 7 different machines will be counted as a complete entry. Their 7 best games will be compared to everyone else's 7 best games and awarded points accordingly. Players will need to play a minimum of 7 out of the 14 pinball machines to be awarded a score.

We will also be using the It Never Drains Software for this circuit event which will also allow for queing of games for participants.

The rank of the player’s result on each machine will contribute points to their overall entry as follows:

1st place- 100 points

2nd place- 97 points

3rd place- 95 points

4th place- 94 points

5th place- 93 points

6th place- 92 points

All the way down

(Best Possible Score = 700 points, for highest score on 7 different machines)

If there is a tiebreaker for a position but not 24th or 40th place tiebreaker which will be a one game playoff . We will randomly pick from the 14 machines and the higher score on that machine will be the tiebreaker for position.

Advancing to the Finals on Sunday November 19th at 9:00am

-Next seeded top player will pick from the rest of the machines available to play after top seed pick game or position

-Picking a pinball machine during the whole final round on Sunday will take that pinball machine out for the rest of the tournament, unless you have picked all your machines and are starting over.

- There will be no waiting on pinball machines. The group will need to decide what machine they are wanting to play once the round starts.

-In a situation where the only machine left to pick is being played by another group then that machine can be waited on to play

-If this event is broadcast on PAPATV or any other stream, the Tournament Director will make a decision on setting up the cameras for the machines picked for the final 2 rounds semi finals and finals.

-After each game, the players need to see the tournament director to verify the game and update each player’s machine selection list.

Consolation games after losses:

Players who are eliminated from head-to-head matches in the finals will be reseeded based on their qualifying scores, and then placed in a consolation bracket to determine each position as follows:

Consolation Round #1: Groups of 4 players will play a single game, determined by the tournament director. The top 2 players in each group will advance, and the bottom two players in each group will play the bottom players in the other group. The results of these 2 groups will determine 17-24th place.

Consolation Round #2: Groups of 4 players will play a single game, determined by the tournament director. The top 2 players in each group will advance, and the bottom two players in each group will play the bottom players in the other group. The results of these 2 groups will determine 9-16th place.

Consolation Round #4: This will be a 2 player best of three to determine position #3 and #4
