Tournament Date: March 05, 2022
The Delaware Pinball Collective presents its first ever Stern Army Launch Party! Come out on March 5th and enjoy the brand new RUSH pinball machine while playing in a 3-strike group knockout tournament!
This event is open to ANYONE. Non-Members can attend this event, see below for details!
Location: Delaware Pinball Collective - 1100 First State Blvd, Second Floor, Wilmington DE 19804
Date: 3/5/2022 - Doors open at 12:00pm, Practice ends at 12:45pm. Tournament starts at 1:00pm
Registration: Eventbrite will handle all ticket sales. https://dpcsternarmyrush2022.eventbrite.com
Cost: $10 per MEMBER ($1 to IFPA, $9 to prize pool after expenses)
$25 per NON-MEMBER($1 to IFPA, $9 to prize pool after expenses, $15 to the Collective) After expenses, remaining prize pool returned 100%
NOTE - No food or beverage provided for this event. You are allowed to bring your own food. We will have snacks available for purchase. All beverages must be purchased from the Collective. We carry non-alcoholic, alcoholic, and water.
Prizes: Top 3 win cash with 1st place receiving a limited edition RUSH plaque! Percentage breakdown after all expenses will be 50% for 1st, 30% for 2nd, and 20% for 3rd.
BONUS - We will have a consolation side tournament on RUSH, where every player will get to play RUSH once and record their score. After all players have played , we will take the top 4 scores and those 4 players will play a 1 game, winner take all for a brand new RUSH Translite!!!
Format and Rules:
3 Strike Group Knockout
The Knockout Tournament is a 3 Strike Tournament played in groups of 4 (3 when necessary).
Random Seeding to start, then Swiss Style.
SPECIAL NOTE - Since this is for the launch of the new RUSH pinball machine, every single round will have RUSH drawn. This potentially means that when we get down to the final 2 players, the final game will be played on RUSH! All other games drawn randomly.
Groups of 4 will play against each other on a single machine.
The 2 players with the lowest scores in a 4-player group will receive a strike (3rd, 4th Place in the match)
In a 3-player group (as needed) only the lowest score (3rd Place) will receive a strike.
Once a player has 3 strikes they are out of this tournament but can still hang around and play machines not in use.
The tournament continues until there is one player remaining. Only ties for prizes will be broken with another game played on an early solid state machine or RUSH!
