Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: December 22, 2022

Thursday Night Frenzy to the Finish!

Every Thursday Night in December we will have a timed Flipper Frenzy to beat the clock before the end of the year!

Doors open at 6, Frenzy will begin at 6:30!

Entry fee will be $2 for Thursday Night Pinball.

This is an IFPA Sanctioned Event. The Arcade will pay the $1/player sanctioning fee.

A Flip Frenzy is a timed event. It will have 2.5 hours of continuous qualifying from 6:30-9:00pm. When the clock expires all games currently in progress will finish and no new games will be started.

Flip Frenzy format is simple. Matchplay will assign Player 1 and Player 2 in head to head games on random machines. As results are entered, Player 1 will become Player 2 for the next game with the next player in the queue. Player 2 will go to the back of the queue and wait for their next game.

No show players, or players who have not reported to their game will be given a loss and moved to the back of the queue.

At the end of the Frenzy time, the top 4 qualifiers will play a Group Matchplay Final consisting of 4 games played in the multiplay format. The top seed will get the choice of 4 adjacent games, or choice of player order for the finals. Finals will use the Pinburgh scoring 3,2,1,0.

Ties for advancement to finals will be broken with a 1 game playoff. A coin flip will determine who gets the choice of order on Nine Ball. In the event of a tie with more than 4 players, a 1 ball game will be played on Nine Ball and order will be randomly selected.
