Tournament Date: February 18, 2023
Showdown at the Farm!
Saturday, February 18th
Entry fee for all tournaments is $20
Jason will open his home collection to players in the morning.
Registration will begin at 10am, Matchplay will begin at 11am.
Format Details: 10 Rounds of Group Matchplay, 2 games per round.
Each round will consist of 1 modern machine and 1 classic style machine.
Group pairings will be Tiered Swiss.
IFPA scoring will be used (7,5,3,1 scoring).
At the end of the 10 rounds, the top 8 players will advance to a group matchplay elimination bracket.
Finals Format: Each round will have a 3 game bank. The top seed in each group may choose a bank of games. A player may only choose each bank one (1) time for the entire playoffs. Top seeds will be given their choice of order in the first game. After the first game, the choice of order will be given in reverse finishing order (4th place, 3rd place, ect…). Top 2 players from each group will advance to the Final Showdown Round. In the event of a tie for advancement, the top seed in the tiebreaker game will be allowed to choose a game OR their player order. (Any game from the tournament, not played in the groups round, may be selected.)
All extra balls will be off, if you are awarded an extra ball, please plunge it with no flips.
All rulings from Tournament Directors are final.
