Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: December 16, 2023
This is the monthly tournament at Pizza West in Shawnee that occurs every third Saturday at 5pm. For 2023 we are going to be rotating through a few different formats to keep things interesting. Entry will still be $5 and all money will be paid out to the field of players. IFPA fees are sponsored by the operators. A trophy will be awarded for first place each month.
Format: Strikeout
Players will be placed into groups (4 players where possible) and assigned a machine using Matchplay software. They will play 1 game per round. Those who finish 1st or 2nd on their game receive no strikes. 3rd and 4th place receive 1 strike each. If there are any 3 player groups, only the 3rd place finisher receives a strike. Players continue until they receive 3 strikes and they are knocked out. The tournament director may choose to do a 4 strike tournament instead depending on how many people show up. This will be announced before the tournament begins.
