It's the FINAL PUSH for New Jersey State Championships!!!
Date: Sunday, December 21st
Time: 11am with doors opening at 10am for practice. Announcements precisely at 10:45am
64 player max.
Registration: December 7th at 12pm EST

Qualifying: Timed match play for 5 hrs. We will try to start exactly at 11am and no new rounds will start after 4pm (or exactly 5 hrs after starting round 1).
All games played will be classics and faster playing moderns to get the most rounds played in 5 hrs.
Scoring 7/5/3/1 in 4-player groups or 7/4/1 in 3-player groups. Balanced pairing.
Finals:
A Division will be PAPA group elimination with 4/2/1/0 scoring for top 16 players in qualifying.
B Division will be a 4 strike, fair strikes tournament(0/1/1/2) for positions 17th through 32nd. Winner of B finals will be reported to IFPA as 17th place and everyone else's qualifying position will move down 1 spot. Example, you finish 19th in qualifying, and end up last in B finals. Your IFPA position will be reported as 20th.
$20 entry to tournament: $15 to prize pool, $1 to IFPA and $4 to expenses.
Positions paid:
A Division - 1st through 8th
B Division - 1st
If 64 players attend payouts will be as follows:
A Division:
1st: $345
2nd: $172
3rd and 4th: $86
5th - 8th: $43
B Division:
1st: $96
