Qualifying: Stern’s Star Wars: Fall of the Empire pinball machine will be a preferred arena for every round with Swiss Pairing. This will be a 3 strikes knockout bounty tournament. Once a player has received three strikes they are out of the tournament. In a four player group the bottom two players take a strike, in a three player group only the third place player will take a strike. In a two player group, second place will take one strike.
1st place will receive the exclusive Star Wars: Fall of the Empire Women’s Launch Party Plaque provided by Stern.
How does this bounty tournament work.
Each player will receive a bounty chip at the start of the tournament.
Whenever someone is eliminated, they give their original bounty chip to the top scoring player in the group.
If more than one player is eliminated the top score player can earn multiple chips.
If you have earned bounty chips, before getting eliminated, you still only give one chip to the top player in the group when you are eliminated, meaning you can win money without having to make it to the end.
When eliminated (after giving one chip to the top player in your group) you cash in any chips you earned for $5 each!
