NEW 2016 format for Tuesday Night Live at The Pinlab - Whopper Edition
Tournament is endorsed by IFPA, results are submitted and World Ranking points will be awarded.
Qualification
Qualification will be played in different ways depending on attendance so as to secure 100% TGP (25+ matches to win).
Qualification will be a format where you 'meet everybody in your group' either once or twice.
Finals will be in the format where you get a seed from your qualification results and play quarterfinals, semifinals and finals in 1-on-1 matches best of 3 or 5 games. Or in some rare instances groups of three.
Example
If 22 people attend we will play in two groups of 11 matches 1-on-1 on two different machines (each match will reward either 0, 1 or 2 points). (20 games total). Finals will then be best four from each group (8 people) playing quarterfinals, semifinals and finals in 1-on-1 matches best of 3 (6-9 games total).
Bonus info: Players ranked in top 1000 in IFPAs World Rankings will be seeded and divided into the groups - rest will be placed at random.
Ties
All ties from qualification through to the finals will be played best of one game on a machine chosen in advance by the TD.
Prizes and Prices
Chocolate and TAG on the wall for eternal fame for the winners - no trophies or cash prizes. Entry fee 100 DKK
