Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: October 22, 2016

Pintoberfest 4 2016 - The Final Nightmare will be held on October 22nd 2016 We are running this at Pinball Wizard Arcade in Pelham, NH from 11:30am-11pm.

Pinball Wizard opens at 10am, and signups / check ins are cut off at 11:00am (sharp). So please get there as early as possible.
This tourney is going to be limited to the first 56 paid people.

The main event will be a combination of PinGolf for initial seeding, and League Style head to head play ( 5-3-2-1 scoring ). The Golf scoring will be backwards in order to be compatible with league scoring. (hole in one = 3, on 2nd ball = 2, on 3rd ball = 1 not at all = 0).
The cost of the event will be $40, there will also be a side classics tourney that will be included.

We will start off with a 6 hole course of Golf (random 3/4 player groupings - doesn't matter as you are playing as individuals). Then with the PinGolf results we can seed for the league style play. We will then break up into the 3/4 player groups based on seedings, and play a round of league style play ( 4 games ), once those scores come in, they will be added to the original Golf scores. At this time the top 50% of the field will be the A division, the bottom 50% will be B. If the field is not an even number the extra will remain in B. Then one last round of league style play, and the top 8 scores will play into finals ( in each division )

The top 8 will move on. The top 8 will be broken into (2) 4 player groups, they will play league style on 4 games. The top 4 will move on in the money, but will play 1 more round of 4 to determine order. If there are any ties that will prevent a top 4, we will break ties on one of the classic machines that can be randomly picked. There will be cash prizes and handmade trophies ( made by James Calcia ). Trophies have always been great, and are awarded to the top 3 players in each division, and the top classics score.

EXTRA BALLS WILL NOT BE PLAYED...just plunged in all events. If you run into a game where plunging doesn't seem possible ( as if you plunge over and over, and no switches get hit), you are allowed a single flipper hit. No trapping and taking a shot, just a slap of the flipper to make a switch it, then let it drain.

Classics
There will also be an side tourney that consists of 4 classic games. You get one shot with your highest score. You must have you sheet validated by an official or another player.

So please arrive early to signup/checkin, and warm up. We will have some breaks during calculations in scoring, and may put in a break for food.

There is a sub shop, Chinese, Subway, and a Micky D's all right nearby. I imagine the scoring breaks may be like around 15-30 minutes, not a bad time to grab a quick bite (call ahead so it will be ready when you are ready). We want to make sure we keep things moving, as we have to finish this out in the time allotted.
