Tournament Overview

Start Date: March 17, 2017
End Date: April 11, 2017

DATES:
QUALIFYING: The following 4 Lock-Ins; Friday March 17th from 5.30-10.30, Thursday March 23rd from 12-4, Friday March 31st from 5.30-10.30 and Thursday April 6th from 12-4.

FINALS: Tuesday April 11th.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
QUALIFYING:
1. Friday March 17th from 5.30-10.30. Thursday March 23rd from 12-4. Friday March 31st from 5.30-10.30 and Thursday April 6th from 12-4. This means a maximum of 18 hours of qualifying.
2. ENTRY FEE: $25 for each lock-in.
3. 8 machines will be at ALL of the 4 lock-ins.
4. You can come along at any time during the qualifying period to play and register scores. The choice is yours.
5. Any score that a player wishes to enter will need to be verified by an official scorer at Adelaide Pinball Hire.
6. Selfies WILL NOT be accepted for qualifying scores but will be ENCOURAGED so Grant can upload some of them to Facebook.
7. We will probably not enter scores directly to matchplay events on the night. This will depend on numbers.
8. Paul will enter/update scores over the weekend after each lock-in. Scores can then be monitored on matchplay live.
9. It will be a good idea for players to register to matchplay events so they can monitor where they stand.
10. Your highest 2 scores on each of the 8 machines will be counted towards qualifying for the finals.
11. There is no point registering a score on a particular machine if it is LOWER than your two highest previously registered scores as it will not count!
12. At any lock-in players cannot "hog" a machine. Players need to be prepared to play doubles etc or sit out and wait for a machine to come free if they want to play singles.
13. Players also need to be aware that there may be members of the public who are there not to compete in the comp.

FINALS:
1. Tuesday April 11th. Registration and warm up 5.30-6.30 sharp.
2. Information and questions from players 6.30-6.40.
3. Tournament: 6.40-11.
4. ENTRY FEE: $25 for the whole night.
5. Single elimination best of five games on different machines.
6. There will probably be about 14 machines in use on the night.
7. Grant is not obliged to tell players which machines will be used prior to the competition day.
8. There will be a tech on site for the tournament.

50% of the qualifying field up to a maximum of 16 players will qualify for the finals.
The higher ranked qualifier for game one of each best of three has the choice of either: machine played OR going first or second.
