Tournament Date: February 03, 2018
It's the Superbowl of pinball! Waterloo's newest home for pinball is having a tourney, and you're invited! A great mix of old and new games including Guardians of the Galaxy, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Iron Man and more!
Doors open at noon. Tourney begins at 1pm.
You'll represent one of the 2 nearby (leagues) teams, if you're already not a member. The hometown TCPL: Tri-City Pinball League (https://www.facebook.com/groups/TCPL2018/) vs, the visiting LOPL: London Ontario Pinball League (https://www.facebook.com/LondonOntarioPinballLeague/)
We'll play 10 rounds of 4 (or 3) player randomly picked groups from the Match Play software. 7-5-3-1 scoring (7-4-1 for 3 player groups). Each round, a different group is picked. After 10 rounds, top 50% (up to max of 16 players) make playoffs. Ties in scores determined by software based on 1st and 2nd place finishes in group play.
Playoffs are brackets, best 2 of 3 games, higher seed picks order or game in 1st & 3rd match, lower seed picks order or game in 2nd match. Person cannot select same game more than once in playoffs. If 16 players in,playoffs, #1 vs. #16, #2 vs. #15... If 12 in playoffs, top 4 get a bye to next round.
Trophy for winner. Prizes for top 4.
Entry fee includes cover charge so that all games on freeplay, IFPA entry fee, prizes, and trophy for winner! All monies paid out. Email & e-transfer $15 CDN to drredness@gmail.com (or pay Jeff directly) to reserve registration (non-refundable). First 48 people guaranteed a tourney spot.
