403 Club League:
Start Wednesday, July 11th and run for eight weeks ending August 29th. Finals will be Wednesday, September 5th.
Two start times, 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. I need (ideally) two people that can commit to attending the 7PM group and run that time slot.
Weekly format will consist of five qualifying games. Everyone will play all five and the scores will be sorted high to low. 1 point for the lowest, 2 for the second lowest, etc, etc. The top four qualifying players will play an additional three games with the scoring 4-3-2-1. Weekly payouts will be based on the results of the final three games, tiebreakers played as needed.
I would suggest that the early group players take the top four out of that group and play the final three games. Payouts can be done the next week if those players are gone at the end of the night.
League qualifying scores will be based on the qualifying results and weekly finals of all players. The lowest scoring player each week will receive 1 league point, 2nd lowest 2 points, 3rd lowest 3 points... Eight weeks of qualifying with the best 6 weekly point amounts counting toward the league finals. League finals will be held September 5th at 8:00 PM. There will be an A and B group. Specifics TBD but likely top 8 for A, next 8 for B. Two groups of 4 players on 4 machines, scoring 4-3-2-1, top two from each group advance. Payouts to the top three in each group (70% A, 30% B).
Weekly entry fee of $7, with $5 going to the weekly payout and $2 carried toward the league finals payout (less IFPA fees).
