Tournament Overview

This league will run for ten weeks and then have the finals (11 weeks in total). League starts at 5:15pm each Tuesday. You must arrive before 7pm if you wish your score to count for that league day.
Best game format on a 95% modified decay scoring method using the match play (or similar) software for scoring. Each week you will have nine or ten entrees (depending on number of games in play that week) to allocate among that week’s games as you so wish. Only your best game on the machine counts for points. There will be anywhere from 4-7 games in play each week. By popular demand, the bottom two weeks for each player will not count for standings (so if you miss a week or two during this ten week season you will not be penalized for league position in qualifying for finals).
The top 6 players qualify for finals. Finals will be the same format as regular weeks except that the top four from the finals (after the best game format for that one week determines the top four) will then be set up for head to head elimination play to determine the champion.
This league is open to all but if you’ve never been to any of our numerous IFPA events in the past you must contact Pav or Edwin in advance before you show up. In the unlikely event we have 32 people enroll in the league the league will close and not allow new players (we usually have around 25, so this is unlikely to be an issue). No alcohol on the premises. Must be dressed appropriately. Must park your vehicle appropriately. Must abide by all laws and be a good sportsman or you will be asked to leave.
