Qualifying,
Play a single game on every machine available at Timezone Surfers Paradise (8 or 9 games, not 6 as
per typical monthly meeting)
Ranked first to last on each machine.
Cumulative score across all machines as per PAPA system (100 for 1 st , 90 for 2 nd 85 for 3 rd , 84 for 4 th
and so on).
Up to a maximum of 5 qualifying attempts can be made.
Qualifying Dates:-
Wednesday 10 th October 2 attempts possible.
Tuesday 16 th October 2 attempts possible.
Thursday 18 th October ONLY 1 qualifying attempt on this night for the sake of finalising results in a
timely manner.
6pm<>11:30pm
Cost $20 per attempt (+$5 for a buyin attempt on the first two qualifying nights)
Competitors may choose to buyin an additional attempt on the first two qualifying nights provided
they finish their first full attempt by 9pm! This “buyin” attempt is to play all the machines for a 2 nd
time. It does not allow a player to make a 3 rd (or further) attempt on any machine!
$10 goes to Timezone for use of the machines, $10 (and buyins) goes to SMA kitty for random draw
prizes and trophy purchases.
FINALS
To be held on the MORNING (9:30am check in time, 10am finals start) of Saturday 20 th October.
Finals will consist of the top 16 players (if we have 32 or more qualifiers) or the top 12 players if we have 24<>31 qualifiers.
This will be a 3 strike knockout through matchplay software with no game cost to the finalists (TD will be swiping prepaid cards for the games).
Expected finish time 1pm-2pm
