Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: February 19, 2019
Super Flip Frenzy is a fast-paced tournament where you try to play and win as many games as possible in two hours! After two hours, the top 4 or 8 (if there are 16 or more players) go on to a playoffs and compete for first place!
How it works:
-$1 entry fee that goes towards IFPA's sanctioning fee
-Roughly 80% of the competitors will start playing a game as player 1 or player 2.
-The remaining 20% will be in a virtual queue, waiting for a game to finish.
-After a game ends and the players report the result, three things happen.
1. A person at the front of the queue becomes player 1 on a new game.
2. Player 1 from the previous game becomes player 2 on the new game with the new player 1.
3. Player 2 from the previous game gets put back into the queue
Standings are determined by net wins. (Total wins minus total losses)
Top 4 or 8 players (depending on players) go on to a 3 or 2 game playoff to determine final placement for those players.
