DFW Pinball legend and one of the participants in the famous TPF "Classic Stern Row" has, once again, generously opened his home in Richardson, Texas to the DFW Pinball League.
Two events going on.
I will not turn anyone away due to cost. If you can not/will not pay, I will cover you - come be a part of the pinball community!
Event 1
--- DFW Pinball League Summer 1 Event - very casual - play at your own pace - best score format - details are listed in the LEAGUE listing (separately).
Event 2
--- IFPA Registered Tournament
Doors open at 1:00 - tourney starts as close to 1:30 PM as possible.
Late entrants are welcomed until sometime around 3:30 PM (halfway through qualifying).
THERE WILL BE PLAYOFFS FOR BOTH A AND B DIVISIONS SO ALL SKILL LEVELS CAN PLAY AND WIN!
"A" finals affects standings - per IPFA rule, "B" does not - its for fun... That said, I will have a GIFT CARD for the B division winner.
As always, All skill levels welcome!! It's about having fun, eating, socializing, and playing pinball!! We had players as young as 3 years old & as old as 81 in our leagues. All we ask is that you respect each other, the host's home, and the machines! So, come Join us!
--- want more proof that all skill levels are welcome? in the 2017 Summer 1 league 28 points made the playoffs. You get 20 league points for showing up. So if you came to both events, regardless of standing, you were in the playoffs! While it doesn't always work that way, we TRULY want this to be about community and welcome all skill levels!
FOOD: Scott said that he'll be grilling hot dogs. He says you can bring other stuff if you like, but no need/requirements.
