Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: November 03, 2019

Kim and Teri Keist, of Kimball's Pinball fame, have generously offered to open their home in Lakeside, Texas (northwest Fort Worth) for our league. They have an amazing collection of "A" list DMD games and have won countless TPF awards for their work. EVERYONE is welcome, even if you haven't played with us before.

(PLEASE READ PARKING INFO - TOWARDS THE BOTTOM OF THIS EVENT DESCRIPTION)

Two events going on and COST IS $1 PER EVENT TO PLAY ($2 Total per person)...
I will not turn anyone away due to cost. If you can not/will not pay, I will cover you - come be a part of the pinball community!

Event 1
--- DFW Pinball League Fall Event
Very casual event - play at your own pace -
Arrive ANY TIME during the event - Best Score Format - Unlimited attempts allowed.

Event 2
--- IFPA Registered Tournament
Doors open at NOON - since we are trying to end in a specific amount of time, we will start as close to NOON as possible.
Late entrants are welcomed until sometime around 2:30 PM (halfway through qualifying).

THERE WILL BE PLAYOFFS FOR BOTH A AND B DIVISIONS SO ALL SKILL LEVELS CAN PLAY AND WIN!
"A" finals affects standings - per IFPA rule, "B" finals does not.
That said, I will have 2 GIFT CARDS for the B division winners (1st place $15 and 2nd place $10).

END TIME - While we don't have a hard end time, our host would like to be done around 8 so we will work to accommodate this request.

For FOOD our hosts note: "We'll provide some Sodas & Waters, otherwise BYOB[Beverage] & Potluck." -- So bring something if you can!

Our hosts also note:
"Please watch your speed in Lakeside, Lakeside PD Radars constantly (from Jacksboro Hwy on 1886/Confederate Park Rd to Billings Road)" and "Parking - in the cul-de-sac, cars @ 90 degrees head-in please, on the side streets park parallel but please not on folks grass (sprinkler heads)"

As always, All skill levels welcome!! It's about having fun, eating, socializing, and playing pinball!! We had players as young as 3 years old & as old as 81 in our leagues. All we ask is that you respect each other, the host's home, and the machines! So, come Join us!

--- want more proof that all skill levels are welcome? in the 2017 Summer 1 league 28 points made the playoffs. You get 20 league points for showing up. So if you came to both events, regardless of standing, you were in the playoffs! While it doesn't always work that way, we TRULY want this to be about community and welcome all skill levels!
