Each year, Pinburgh offers an opportunity for players to win one of a limited number of free entries into the tournament before tickets officially go on sale. These Pinburgh satellite tournaments also offer the participating arcades an opportunity to engage the pinball community directly and raise money for their own separate causes.
First place wins an entry into Pinburgh (and, you know, gets to sleep in on Feb. 22nd, which is when entry tickets for Pinburgh go on sale)!
Additional prizes and giveaways provided by the Replay Foundation
Cost: $20 + coin drop
Prize: Pinburgh 2020 Reservation
IFPA fee: Covered by the Replay Foundation
Sign ups @ 4:30p, 5:00p tournament start time - Will hold no later than 5:20pm.
Format: 4 Strike format – Competitors will be placed into either 3 or 4-player groups and randomly assigned a pinball machine. Each competitor who finishes in either 3rd or 4th place will receive a “strike”. When a competitor incurs 4 strikes he or she is eliminated from the tournament.
