This will be a 20 person open league with games played on Monday nights. The league will be traveling to various venues throughout the state, but total players is maxed at 20 or 24. League is 10 weeks long (however only 5 of the league nights will be post 1 AUG sanctioning beginning - 2 AUG, 9 AUG, 16 AUG, 23 AUG and 28 AUG for finals). Each week 4 player group will play 5-4 player matches. Groups are randomly divided for week 1 based on IFPA rankings to balance new and experienced players. Nightly matches will score 4,3,2,1. Average weekly scores will be calculated and players will be reseeded weekly into new groups, similar to target match play, so format will Swiss to skill level over the course of the league. League finals tournament will be held 28 AUG in a best of 7 single elimination tournament. There will be an A finals of 8 players with the remaining field in B finals similar to SCS, best of 7 single elimination for both A and B finals. Estimated meaningful games at 35. For seeding purposes in A and B finals, lowest 3 weeks of qualifying will be dropped and highest score on a given machine in a week will receive 1 bonus point toward their average weekly score.
