Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: August 14, 2021

This is a launch party flipper frenzy for a new location, Social Axe Throwing of Salt Lake City. There will be 3 hours of flipper frenzy, 2 player games, on a bank of at least 8 machines with a minimal queue size, approximately 20%. Players will play as player 2, then player 1, then go into the queue to wait for their next match. There will be a 30 minute intermission half way through the event. At the end of 3 hours, top 4 finishers, or top 8 if at least 20 people attend the event, will head into a matchplay final with a bank of 3 games, scored (4,3,2,1) If 8 in finals, top 2 in each group advance to finals, if only 4 in finals, only a 3 game final will be played. Finals will be selected by net wins, wins minus losses, with number of wins and then number of head to head wins as tiebreakers. Tournament will be advertised on social media, for both pinball and through the locations website.
