SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2021 AT 1 PM CDT
Doors open and registration starts at 12:30 PM.
This will be the 8th CHARITY pinball fundraiser in memory of Alan Marx.
THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and will part of the DFW Pinball League (Fall Event 2).
See separate league listing for league details.
This is an IFPA tournament for charity that will run at the same time as the league event (on separate machines).
THIS IS FAMILY FRIENDLY as my four children will likely be playing pinball too! We've had players as young as 3 years old & as old as 81 in our leagues. All we ask is that you respect each other, the host's home, and the machines! So, come Join us!
Here's how it works:
--- We have between 20 and 30 pinball and arcade games in our house, ALL set for free play (no coins needed).
--- Minimum suggested (tax deductible to the extent allowed by law) donation is $25 per person at entry.
--- LARGER contributions are WELCOMED as well (for those willing/able).
--- 100% of the proceeds from this event go directly to Resource Center, the 501(c)3 organization we have chosen to support.
TOURNAMENT DETAIL:
Group Match-play Tournament:
--- Doors open for warm-ups and registration begins around 12:30 PM
--- This starts around 1 PM.
--- You can enter as late as 3:00 PM in this tournament as late entries are welcome.
--- ALL SKILL LEVELS welcome with prizes in multiple divisions:
A Division: "The Pros"
B Division: "Best of the Rest"
C Division: Limited to players outside of the top 2500 in the world rankings - so true novices can win too!
--- Division size will depend on number of players.
DONATIONS: Thank you to these sponsors for donating prizes for me to give away at this event:
BOBBY NEIFER (custom t-shirts)
TITAN PINBALL
************* BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE!!!!!
--- We will be catering food and drink into this event. (again the Marx family is covering all of the costs so 100% of the proceeds go to Resource Center, our beneficiary organization).
This year, as we are just now restarting, there was not enough time to set up a silent auction or raffle life we had in previous years... Just the pinball tournaments, other games to play, food, and drink!
Please come and enjoy!
HEALTH & SAFETY: No specific requirements here, but guests are free to take any additional precautions they’d like.
Participate at your own risk. We are not responsible for your personal choices.
