Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: December 12, 2021

VPL presents a charity matchplay tournament @ Powerhouse Pinball .. Doors will open at 1pm .. at 1:30pm we will begin the target matchplay tournament. In this format all players are able to play each round and the tournament continues until a single player reaches a target number of wins (20 wins in this case) Players will be randomly put into groups of 3 or 4 players to play a single pin .. players will receive one win for each player in their group they defeat. After a round is completed the groups will be reorganized (using Swiss method) and these new groups will play a game (again each player gets 1 pt/win for each player they defeat). Swiss method means that players will be grouped with other players that have the same or similar number of wins.

The cost for the event is as follows .. entrance to Powerhouse is $20 for the entire day (Players can keep playing after our tournament is done) .. Players will also have to provide at least one nonperishable food item or an additional $5 which will go to the VPL Charity fund to be distributed to local charities. There will be some door prizes that will be randomly drawn including a Stern Army translite. Any questions please contact victoriapinball@gmail.com
