Match Play Madness at Quarterworld!

The folks at Quarterworld have agreed to open doors early at 2pm for us and have given us exclusive use of the machines in the back lounge until 6pm. They typically don't open up until 4pm, so we should the run of the place for a couple of hours until they open. From 4pm to 6pm, all games will be played in that restricted area. If numbers permit, no matches should be right next to each other to promote social distancing.

To that point, vaccinations cards will be required to shown before participating. You will need to have had a booster as long as your second shot was more than six months prior to the tournament.

Entry fee is $20. Quarterworld entrance fee also required. (Remember, if you have a membership, you have one guest entry free, so bring a friend.)

Format will be a five round match play tournament, Swiss format. Scoring will be 7-5-3-1.

The top 25% rounded to the nears set of four will qualify for finals (i.e. if we have 40 participants, 8 will go to the final). The number of participants is limited to 48, given the space at Quarterworld and the fact that we have exclusive use of the machines in the back lounge, we should have plenty of space.
