Tournament Overview


Tournament Date: October 01, 2022

Date: Saturday 1 October, 2022

Start: 10:00am - 2:00pm

Cost: $25 AUD

Prizes: Cash for top 5 players. Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Description

Each round, players will be randomly placed into groups of 3 or 4 using the Matchplay events software.

Pairing

The first round will use random pairing. Subsequent rounds will use Swiss pairing. The Matchplay events software will allocate order of play and machine choice for each match.

Scoring

The fair strikes system will be used for this event. 0 strikes for a win, 2 strikes for last place, and 1 strike for players in between.

Once a player has received 8 strikes they are eliminated from the tournament.

Winner

The winner will be the last person remaining.

Ties

Ties for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th will be decided by a playoff on a machine decided by the Tournament Director.
