Back to the Beach Weekly Tournament!
We’re bringing pinball back to the Balboa Peninsula in a BIG way every Thursday!
This is a fun and accessible pinball tournament for all levels of players.
Each tournament is a 5 Fair Strikes Knockout Tournament format with the winners being determined by “last player standing”. Each standalone tourney prize pool includes cash for the top 2 Players, and prizes for 3rd and 4th place + more fun like consolation and high-score prizes. Entry fee is $9 + $1 IFPA FEE plus coin-drop.

Tournament: Sign in opens at 700. Tournament starts at 730.
We are running a MatchPlay tournament using MatchPlay events.
There will probably be 9 machines in use.
Machines used TBD tournament day.
Players will be grouped in groups of threes or fours
0/1/1/2 strikes are given to 1st/2nd/3rd/4th place finishers
Three-player groups get 0/1/2 strikes
Two-player groups get 0/2 strikes
At 9:30 the strikes will accelerate to 0/2/2/4
In each round each group will play a single game on a randomly selected machine.
The first round is grouped by IFPA ranking - after that we are using balanced pairing.
Entry fee: $9. + $1.00 for IFPA Players Fee (plus coin drop in the qualifying rounds only)
Cash for 1st and 2nd, Prizes for 3rd and 4th (with consolations)
High Score prizes
