Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: April 08, 2023

Waterland Arcade's 17-and-under youth tournament occurs at 2:30pm on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Sign-ups are at 2pm. Entry fee is $2. Waterland adds at least $15 to the prize pool! All entry fees and bonus cash is paid out as prizes to the top 4 finishers.

If at least 8 players show up, then we will use a partial round-robin format (max matchplay) in which all players get to play 7 or 8 head-to-head / one-on-one games against against as many different players as is possible in 7 or 8 rounds. All players will play at least 7 games. The top 4 players will play in a matchplay final consisting of two 4-player games.

If fewer than 8 players show up, then we will play a 3-strike knockout tournament. In this case, all players will play at least 3 games. This format has no separate finals component. For some months, based on player input, we may use the 3-strikes format even if 8 or more players show up.

See the tournament Facebook event page for more details.

Do you have a kiddo in your family that is a pinball fanatic? Do you want to?? Bring them to the arcade!
Come join us for the first of many "Pinheads: The Next Generation," youth tournaments! Meet friends, learn some new skills, and practice good sportsmanship!

Each month before the tournament begins, there will be a small presentation on how the tournaments work; standard pinball terms, sportsmanship, and maybe a few tips on how to play your best game.
