Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: May 13, 2023
Hello! On Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., Benton Parkade will be hosting a women’s Stern Army Foo Fighters Launch Party Tournament. Doors open, when Café Piazza opens. Format will be six rounds of Match Play qualifying, which means that every player is guaranteed to play at least six games/rounds. One game per group per round will be played. In groups of four players, scoring will be seven points for first, five points for second, three points for third, and one point for fourth. In groups of three players, scoring will be seven points for first, four points for second, and one point for third. After six rounds are completed, total points for all six rounds will be tallied for each player. We hope to take the top half of the players to the playoffs (EX: If there are sixteen players that enter the tournament, the top eight qualifiers after six rounds will go on to the playoffs.)
Cost to enter the tournament is $10/player, plus coin drop. Entry fees for the tournament will go directly back to the players in the form of cash prizes for overall first, second, and third place finishers. A Stern Army Foo Fighters Launch Party plaque will be awarded to the winner. We will have attendance prizes/give-aways from various donors, as well! ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED.
Café Piazza staff will be taking care of your eating and drinking needs. Benton Parkade and this IFPA-sanctioned event are open to minors who are accompanied by an adult.
