The Flipside Barcade Winter Series 2023
The format for each of the six tournaments in this series is Head to Head Matchplay.
The tournaments are held on Thursday evenings.

INFORMATION.
1. Tournament series name: The Flipside Barcade Winter Series 2023.
2. Tournament director: Cesar Federici.

4. Location: The Flipside Barcade, 538 Goodwood Road Daw Park SA 5042
5. Registration and warm up 5.30-6.30 sharp.
6. Information and questions from players 6.30-6.35.
7. Tournament start: 6.35.
8. Format is Head to Head Matchplay using next.matchplay.events.
9. In each round players will be allocated an opponent and a machine on which to play one match.
10. A win receives 1 point. If there is an odd number of players, byes will receive .5 (half) point.
11. First round pairings will be based on IFPA rankings and subsequent pairings will be balanced.
12. Play order will be rotating.
13. Arena assignment will be balanced.
14. No more rounds will start after 10.30pm.
15. At the close of the final round, the player with the highest number of points will be declared the winner.
16. Ties will be broken by comparing the strengths of opponents faced (automatic).
17. Entry fee: $25

20. Meaningful # of games played/tournament grading percentage (tgp): 18 for 72% approx (based on 18 rounds played).
