~ This is the 3rd Annual WPPR-PALOOZA @ Captain's Arcade Showroom ~

WPPR-Palooza is a collaboration of Pinball TD’s here to celebrate with everyone the day IFPA re-opened after a 1.5-year COVID shutdown.

A FULL Weekend of pinball, friends and WPPR points!!!!

Since the IFPA changed things up this year, we are doing things a little differently to keep maximum WPPR points efficiency. This year we are extending the event into a Two-day Pinball Tourney Festival with a total of THREE tournaments and lots of WPPR points.

~~~ SATURDAY AUGUST 5th – Doors open at 9:30am ~~~

• STAGE #1 Tourney – 10am “Tilt This Way” Featuring Slamdown Pinball – three rounds with 4 generations of games (EM, SS, DMD, LCD) per round….. Please go the Facebook event page for this tournament for the full details.

• STAGE #2 Tourney – 4pm “Pirates Addiction” – Classic Target MatchPlay – all machines must be 25 years or older to be in this event. Target # is 64 (estimated start time will NOT be earlier than 4 PM, event starts after Stage 1 ends) …… Please go to the Facebook event page for this event for full details.


~~~ SUNDAY AUGUST 6th – Doors open at 10:30am ~~~

• Tourney #1 FINALS – Start time – 11am - Top 8 or Top 16 if over 40 players

• Tourney #2 FINALS - Start time - 3pm - Top 8 or Top 16 if over 40 players

• Tourney #3 – Sunday Funday with “Spinners Delight” Debut at WPPR-Palooza – Start time – 12pm – 5 Strikes – 0011/011. This tournament will be running during the FINALS. If you are in FINALS, you can still play in this Strikes Event but the 60 second rule will be in effect…. So obviously you will want to favor the Finals, but you might have a ball or two in the Strikes tourney that gets plunged for you. • 3 IFPA Sanctioned Pinball Tournaments

• Tournament fee - $15 each

• $40 if you pre-register for the “VIP ALL ACCESS” pass ($5 off) for all 3 by the deadline on August 4th and you'll be entered into a special raffle only for "VIP All ACCESS" Pre-registered players.

• Pre-Register by paying in cash to CC or pay through Venmo. In the comments, please state the which tourney or VIP plus players names if paying more than one player.

• Pre-Register deadline is on Friday August 4th at 6:59 PM, any players registering afterwards will be paying the full price of $45 for all 3 ($15 each)

• We will LIVE Stream a Special Pre-Reg/ "VIP All ACCESS" pass holder raffle at 7pm at Captain's Arcade Showroom and LIVE on Twitch @ PinsandPirates (right before league begins) on Friday August 4th.

• Each Tournament is run by a different Tournament Director. Please look over each event page as they will each be different formats.

• There will be at least a 30-minute break between Tourney #1 & #2 on Saturday.

• We will also have a FOOD TRUCK on site for most of Saturday.

• The event will be updated as we get closer to the event, but the date and location are confirmed. Start Time for Tourney #2 is currently approximate but will NOT start any earlier than 4pm.

• DAY 2 – Sunday August 6th – Doors open at 10:30am - Tourney #3 Strikes and Finals for Tourney #1 & #2

• Like in the past WPPR Paloozas there will be a WPPR-Palooza Grand Champion Trophy – this is awarded to the player that played best in all the tournaments. This will be awarded at the end of the festival (Sunday).

• 1st = 100 points

• 2nd = 94 points

• 3rd = 90 points

• After 4th it's 2 points between each rank

• e.g. 4th = 88 points, 5th= 86 points, 6th =84 points, 7th = 82, 8th = 80 etc.

• 48th place and below = 0 points
