This season of the Flippin’ Queens Pinball League will consist of 6 total league nights followed by a league final playoff to determine a winner. Each player’s top 4 league nights will count toward the qualifying standings to determine who will move onto the League Finals, standings can be found on our website here: https://www.qcpinball.ca/fqpl-standings or on the Matchplay.events site here: https://next.matchplay.events/series/2857.
League Nights:
League nights will consist of 6 total games played in 4 player groups. Match points will be awarded based on a player’s finishing position on each game they play: 1st place = 7 pts., 2nd place = 5 pts., 3rd place = 3 pts., 4th place = 1 pt.
Note: All League Nights will be held at private locations but they remain open to everyone in the League! The address will be distributed to all players who RSVP prior to each League Night.
League Finals:
A league finals playoff will determine the winner of the league. The format for this playoff will be a single elimination head-to-head bracket with best-of-5 matches. The number of players qualifying for playoffs will be based on the number of players that participate in the league. As a general rule, no more than 50% of all participants will move on to the league final playoff.
