The Toronto Pinball League is a weekly league that runs every Monday (taking the occasional Monday off for Holidays/pinball related events)
TOPL runs on a match play format, every week players are placed into Groups of 3 or 4 and are awarded points based on how well they do within their group.
Players play 5 machines and get 7 points for 1st, 5 points for second, 3 points for 3rd and 1 point for 4th. (7-4-1 for 3p groups). You can track league stats/standings at http://topl.league.papa.org.
The season runs for 7 weeks and at the end of the season we crown a season champ and run a playoff tournament for members. Your lowest 2 scores are dropped. Top 8 players qualify for A division, the rest for B division. Points are awarded based on the playoff standings.
