Overall

This is an 18-hole PinGolf event. Doors will open at 9AM Saturday, April 20th. With first tee time starting at 9:30AM sharp. There is absolutely NO PRACTICE on any of the pins the day of the event and NO PLAY on the pins. Please come the day before on April 19th if you want practice.

Registration is limited to 64 players. Email requests for entry, partner and time preferred to chris@hangarpinball.com or Hangar Pinball on Facebook.

Entry fee is $20 ($1 IFPA fee and $19 prize pool), payable at the day of the tourney. (If you can not foreseeably make it - please let us know well in advance.) Coin drop is .50 ($9 total coin drop). Top 50% to A finals and next 8 after to B finals - payouts and trophies to the Top 3 in each group.

Each Pin-Hole will consist of a pinball machine with a TARGET SCORE. As in any golf event, a lower tournament Pin-Strokes score is better. The number of balls it takes for the player to reach that target score will represent the number of Pin-Strokes earned for that hole. Should a player not reach the target score after a full game is completed, a stroke value will be determined based on how close the player was to the target score at the end of their game.

For example, with a target score of 10 million points. A player will continue playing the game until he/she reaches 10 million points. If reached, the number of balls it took to reach that score will be recorded for that Pin-Hole. If the player fails to reach the target score after 5 balls are played, they will be awarded a score based on how close they were to that target:
8,000,000 – 9,999,990 points = 6 strokes
6,000,000 – 7,999,990 points = 7 strokes
4,000,000 – 5,999,990 points = 8 strokes
2,000,000 – 3,999,990 points = 9 strokes
0 – 1,999,990 points = 10 strokes

The objective is to hit the top target score in 5 balls. If the top score on RUSH is 10,000,000 million and you get it on ball 3, you get a 3; on ball 1 it's a “hole in one” or 1. However, if after 5 balls you only get to 4,000,000 that will be a 8. You want to have the lowest stroke possible to advance.

You play 18 pins with a partner. Your partner, and your partner only, writes down your score (the actual pin score AND the score itself for the hole) and initials it. In addition, you are to take a picture of EVERY pin score for both of you. When you submit your scorecards, spot checks (pictures taken) will be asked on a random pin for verification.
If you get an extra ball(s), you may play the extra ball(s). ????

Tee times will start in 15 minute intervals. Group 1 will start on Hole 1, Group 2, will start on Hole 10, and so on. We will make every effort to keep it moving, so there's not a lot of waiting.

Tee times will start at 9:30am and the last tee time starting at 5:15pm. You must check in 15 minutes before your tee time.
If you sign up and don't have a partner, we will work to ensure you have one during your requested tee time.

Some of the pins will be set difficult (tight tilts, reduced tilt warnings, ball saves reduced, etc.) Any changes in difficulty will be noted on the pins. Can't make this easy can we?

Top 50% will play a PinGolf elimination bracket/3 games per round at 12:00pm on Sunday April 21st, 2024. The top seed in each group will pick the games and order for first game. Then, last place in game will pick order for subsequent pin(s). The two with the lowest scores (strokes) will move to the next round. The remaining 8 that didn't qualify will play the same format as A. Only difference is start time will commence after A finals starts.

A Finals will receive 80% of the prize pool and B Finals will receive 20% of the prize pool.
