Tournament Overview

Start Date: January 02, 2024
End Date: February 11, 2024

Our league plays 6 meetings that have 1 round of 5 games per meeting. The league is run using MatchPlay in a Group MatchPlay Format. Players are grouped in groups of four or three, depending on attendance. 4 of the 6 meetings count towards the season total. Players must play at least 3 meetings to qualify for finals. Division 1 Finals are a PAPA scored group elimination bracket for the top 16 players. The remainder of the players play for Division B trophies only in a strikes tourney ($5 Drop-Ins Welcome). Per IFPA rules only the top sixteen will be ranked according to finals results.

The meetings occur as follows:

Meeting 1 Jan 2nd @7:30pm
Meeting 2 Jan 9th @7:30pm
Meeting 3 Jan 16th @7:30pm
Meeting 4 Jan 23rd @7:30pm
Meeting 5 Jan 30th @7:30pm
Meeting 6 Feb 6th @7:30pm
Saturday FINALS Feb 10th @1:00pm

MORE INFO:
Every Tuesday at 7:30 - 5 Games per Meeting, go to Brewcades.com for Full Schedule
For the first game you will be randomly assigned with balanced pairing to a group of 2 or 3 other players The player in the first position gets to choose the first game to start. Whoever comes in last gets to pick the next game, or the order they play in, and the second-to-last-player gets the option they didn’t pick. The 2nd place player may choose the remaining position. For each game you play you are assigned points depending on where you place. Player groups manage their own game choice and player order and only report the results of each game to the scorekeeper. This all gets tracked throughout the season and culminates in 2 exciting final tournaments, Division A for the top 8 and Division B for the remaining players

We are running a MatchPlay tournament using MatchPlay events.

There will probably be 12 machines in use. Machines used TBD tournament day.

Players will be grouped in groups of threes or fours. Every player will play 5 matches.

No extra balls will be played (Ball Saves OK) Plunge extra balls for minor points.

You may play a game more than once, but players may not choose a game they have chosen before.

In the event of a major malfunction of a machine the remaining game in the round will be played on the choosing player’s 2nd choice.

If a player plays the wrong ball that game is forfeited, as with any player interference, this includes accidentally tilting another player’s ball if it is stuck. If the wrong ball is played (a player plays out-of-turn), the player’s whose turn it is has a chance to a) take over the ball in play or b) let it drain, and take one ball on a fresh one player game (after the first game) and add it to their score. No matter what option is chosen the person who played the wrong ball is given last place on that game. Just be careful when this happens, as to not play out of turn again after removing a player.

If a ball is stuck, try to gently dislodge it and/or allow the ball search to make 3 attempts. If it is still stuck every effort will be made to unstick the ball by the Official and cradled in a flipper, or placed in the shooting lane. If that is not possible, or the game tilts trying to dislodge it (see major malfunction), the game may need to be restarted.

No coaching games.

You get two minutes or your game may start without you

Sign-ins at or before 7:30 sharp - call email or text if you are running late.

Rules of conduct - Players must conduct themselves respectfully to other players and may not disparage them based on race religion, beliefs , masks or anything - don’t be a jerk - we’re here to have fun! Violating the code of conduct is grounds for removal.
