John Wick - Stern Army Launch Tournament
Saturday, July 27th at 1:00PM
Doors open at 11:00AM
Entry Fee - $5
All entry fees will be donated to Kansas Humane Society. All donations will be combined with the ICT Ball Busters, on behalf of the entire Wichita Pinball Community.
All IFPA fees will be taken care of, All first time tournament players will receive $4 in Arcade Tokens.
We will have plenty of John Wick themed prizes and giveaways throughout the tournament.
Format for this tournament will have some unique John Wick changes.
7 Rounds of Group Matchplay using Balanced pairing.
At the beginning of the tournament, we will use Matchplay to randomly draw up to 4 recipients of Blood Oath Markers. The Marker may be played at the beginning of any qualifying round, to trade positions with another chosen player by giving them the marker. A specific Marker may only be played once per round.
All Markers must be honored.
Holding a Marker at the end of qualifying will reward you with a special prize.
Finals format will be the Top 8 players from qualifying playing Group Elimination Matchplay, 4 games per round. Top seed will be allowed to choose a New, Mid and Old game for their group, adding John Wick as the 4th. Top seed will also get a choice of position for game 1. The same player may not select the same games in subsequent rounds (John Wick will be in all rounds).
Tie-breakers for advancement to the finals and throughout finals will be played off on John Wick, all other seeding tie-breakers will broken with automatic tie-breakers. Rock-Paper-Scissors will determine player order.
All games are 2 tokens to play.
All extra balls will be off, if you are awarded an extra ball, please plunge it with no flips.
All rulings from Tournament Directors are final.
