Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: February 25, 2024
This is a IFPA-sanctioned women's CLASSICS pinball tournament at Solid State Pinball Supply in Kansas City! It only costs $5 to enter the tournament. All money gets paid back out to the field. There is also a $15 dollar cost for all day play.
Tournament start time is noon on Sunday, Feb. 25th. Doors open at 11a.m. Players of all skill levels are welcome to enter. Simply show up before noon to sign up. Sign up is in the lower level.

The format is match play. We will place you in groups of 4 people where possible or 3 people where necessary. We will use match play software to assign games. The scoring will be 3-2-1-0. We will fit in as many rounds as we can between noon and 3 p.m. Shortly afterward, we will play finals.
Finals will be between 10 and 50 percent of the field. It will likely be 4-8 people. We will have 4 player groups and continue to use 3-2-1-0 scoring. We will play 3 games per round. The top 3 seeds in each group will get to each pick a game. They can only choose each game once during finals. The highest seed will play first for the first game of finals. On subsequent games, the loser will get to choose position. If we have 8 players in finals, the top 2 players from each group will advance to the next round. If we have 4 players in finals, there will be just 1 round of 3 games in finals to determine the outcome. Significant ties will be broken by a randomly selected game.
Feel free to invite friends. We're looking to grow the amount of participation in local pinball tourneys. If you identify as female, you are welcome to compete. If you identify as male, feel free to come support your friends as a spectator, play pinball for fun on the side.
Make it a fun weekend! There is also an open tournament on the Saturday before, Feb. 24th.
Solid State has a refrigerator on site for those who want to bring their own food and drink. There is also The Combine in the same building serving food and drink.
