Finals Format

Overall

Tournaments cost $5 to enter. Tournament format is double elimination. Players are assigned single-game matches on a randomly selected machine with a single opponent. After losing two matches, a player is eliminated from the tournament. 
 
There are cash prizes and awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, plus best woman player and best novice player. For the purposes of these events, a novice is considered anyone who has participated in five or fewer pinball tournaments. 
 
Players who are out of the tournament are encouraged to stick around Hi-Life and continue to play — we always try to keep a few games open for non-tournament play. 
 
These tournaments have a casual vibe and are intended to be beginner-friendly. We encourage pinball fans to participate regardless of experience or skill level.
