Friday May 16th at 7:00pm, sign ups at 6:30
$5 buy-in
52 player cap (subject to change based on machine availability)
We will be working around the 6 machines being used for the women's Best Game qualifying, so matchplay will allow for a higher player cap. Format is subject to change for attendance or time purposes. We are planning to use a timed matchplay format (possibly double matchplay classic/modern) to see how many rounds we can get in during a 2.5-3 hour window. The top 8 players (if 20+ participants, 4 if less) will move on to a matchplay semi-final. Each group of four will play two games, one at a time. Then the top two from each group will move on to a matchplay final. The final four will play either two or three games to determine the winner. Two games if it is after 11pm, three games if it is before.
Top seed in each finals group will have choice of bank/arenas or player order, next highest seed chooses next, etc. For game two or three in the round, the 4th place player from the previous game has player order choice first, 3rd place second, etc. 7/5/3/1 scoring will be used in qualifying and finals.
