Tournament Overview

Tournament Date: November 01, 2014

Come have some fun and help to improve the lives of children by sharing the history and excitement of the game of pinball. The POP - Pinball Outreach Project is doing this by bringing pinball machines directly to children in hospitals, schools and community centers. They are also spreading awareness by hosting fundraisers and tournaments. All registration and qualifying fees will go directly to POP. 
 
Here is the initial perfunctory plan/format for the tournament (more details to follow): 
 
The Pointe Tavern opens at noon. 
 
Qualifying for the main tournament is from noon to 3 p.m. 
 
Launch party/Side tournament on Walking Dead is from noon to 3 p.m. 
 
At 3 p.m.,the players with the top four scores on Walking Dead will play one finals game to determine the winner of the Launch Party/Side Tournament. 
 
When that is done, top 12 qualifiers will start the main tournament. Top four qualifiers receive a bye in the first round. 
 
None of this format is yet set in granite. All suggestions, opinions, comments are welcome and will be taken under consideration. 
 
If you don't have time to play in the tournament, at least stop in and play the newest STERN PINBALL, INC. machine and show your support for using pinball as therapy for kids in pain.
