How it works:
DC Pinball League season is eight (8) weeks long followed by a one-day Finals.
DC Pinball League (aka the “Parent” League) is composed of three independent sub-leagues:
- Thursday Sub-League (8:30 pm)
- Sunday Sub-League (7:30 pm)
- Monday Sub-League (2:00pm)
The Sub-Leagues will be reported individually. Each Sub-League is treated as its own league for IFPA reporting and WPPR purposes.
Each Sub-League has an entry fee of $10. Participants can join as many Sub-Leagues of their choosing (Thursday night, Sunday night, or Monday afternoon).
In each session, players will compete against each other across four (4) games in randomly drawn groups of 2, 3 or 4 players. Points are awarded based on the finishing order of each game.
Players are allowed to play 1 extra ball at each machine. All other extra balls must be plunged and the machine cannot be touched after the plunge. Players will be disqualified for that game if they play more than one extra ball, or if they play another player’s ball.
Scores are 4/3/2/1 for 4-player groups, 4/2.5/1 for 3-player groups, and 4/1 for 2-player groups.
Order and Game Choice:
1st game: First player has choice of game; players play in order as indicated on score sheet
2nd - 4th game: Last place player in the previous game has a choice of game or order, followed by third place, second place and then first place player from previous game.
Finals:
Finals are treated as a standalone tournament for IFPA reporting and WPPR purposes. Sub league scores will not be combined with finals scores, and will only affect finals tournament seeding.
Players must play at least four (4) weeks in any Sub-League to be eligible for Finals, IFPA reporting, and WPPR points.
Players will drop their lowest two (2) weekly scores from any Sub-League they play. Points from the top six (6) weeks will be used to calculate Sub-League standings, which ultimately determine qualification for league Finals.
Top players from each Sub-League will qualify for Finals which will be held as a separate tournament that determines the overall DC Pinball League standings. The quota of players from each sub-league that qualify for Finals will be determined by the total number of players in each Sub-League.

Sub-League Standings
The Sub-Leagues (Thursday/Sunday/Monday) will be reported individually based on the standings of the eight (8) weeks of play, minus the two (2) lowest scores. Players must play at least four (4) weeks for IFPA reporting and WPPR purposes.
Finals Standings
Finals will be held as a separate tournament and Finals standings will be reported as the DC Pinball League standings for IFPA and WPPR purposes.
