Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: September 21, 2024
We will be fundraising for the Love, Scarborough Campaign at the Scarborough Health Network. As some of you may know, Walt has not had the luckiest or healthiest of years, and SHN has worked hard to help get him back on his feet and on the path to good health. As a thank you, we're going to do some fundraising for them.
Pinball for Change will take place on Friday August 9 and Saturday August 10. The format will be a Pingolf tournament, and it will be an IFPA certified event. The current plan is a 12 hole course, although that is subject to change. Cost is $25, with $24 of that being donated to the Love, Scarborough campaign at the Scarborough Health Network, and the other dollar covering the IFPA fee.
Any necessary tiebreaks will be played at 6:30 pm on Saturday, and the playoffs will start at 7 pm. Top 16 will qualify for the playoffs, which will be a 4 Hole elimination round, with the top 2 advancing from each group until there are only 4. In the event of a tie after 4 holes, the person who got the lowest score on the first hole will advance, then the 2nd if the first is tied, and so on. If all 4 holes are perfect matches, they will play another hole. There will be 3 banks of 4 machines, and the top seed cannot choose a bank more than once.
