Tournament Overview
Tournament Date: August 02, 2024
In honor of National Pinball Day on 8/1/2024, NTX Pinball is sponsoring an event on Friday 8/2/2024.
Who is the ball 3 king? Well let's find out.
Unlike normal match play, players will ONLY play ball 3, plunging balls 1 and 2. Players will be required to do a full plunge (or hit the launch button), and not line up, short plunge, trying for skill shots etc.
The top 8 will qualify to play in an Amazing Race finale, which, yep you guessed it, players will plunge balls 1 and 2 (full plung as outlined above), and play ball 3.
*** TD discretion might result in some games to be playing ball 1 instead of ball 3, if there are situations which can result in excessive natural skill shots from a full plunge (e.g. Walking Dead), cause this aint about who can make skill shots, its about who is the ball 3 king! ***
$10 house /.tournament fee, with 50% going to prize pool. $10 house fee waived if you wear a Notrious B.I.G. t-shirt (with biggie wearing the crown). A truly ridiculous trophy will also go to the winner. In honor or Roger's birthday, we will also serve cake, and sing happy birthday to Roger.
Settings within in matchplay will be opponents and machines balanced.
For those that care about WPPR, these will be 1 ball games, resulting in lower WPPR points.
