Time: 2:00pm until finals are over. Players may begin to register at 2:00pm registration closes at 5:30pm
Format: Stranger Things only.
Qualifying will be on a Best Game Score. With a MAXIMUM 3 attempts per player. Players highest score will determine seed for Finals bracket placement. All resisted players will take part in finals bracket.
Finals will be a single elimination style Play bracket that will be on display with seeding prior to qualifying.
Finals Bracket starts promptly at 6:30pm and continue until the last player standing. Players will be given a 5 minute grace period if not present at start of their bracket match before forfeiting.
Cost and Payout: Registration $11 cash per player.($1 for IFPA and $10 for the prize pool.) Please bring exact cash. Coin drop is also required for each round, with each game costing $.50 per play.
Prizes: Prize pool total split 1st = 70% 2nd = 20% 3rd = 10% and other prizes specific to the Stranger Things will also be provided. The KAVAKADE Facebook website will be updated with more information as the tournament date draws closer.
Food and Drink: We do sell snacks and drinks. However you are more than welcome to BYOB(we ask you to drink responsibly) and BYOFood or order in from one of our local eateries.
Registration: No pre-registration is required, but if you plan to come for sure please email Walt, at thekavakade@gmail.com or reach out on our Facebook page. We will post a list of registered players so we have a better idea of head count the day of.
