Decatur Double Down 2024
$20 entry covers IFPA and the prize pool, donations to Tilt Amusements for the coin drop are accepted and encouraged! $19 per player goes to the prize pool!
Registration and warm-ups begin at 10 am, tournament will begin at 11 am with the last round starting no later than 4:00 pm.
Qualifying:
Guaranteed 5 hours of group matchplay, three games in each round / group
3 game banks (EM/SS, DMD, and LCD eras)
Balanced matchplay qualifying
Top half of final field reduced to groups of 4 will qualify for the finals.
Finals: 6 pm start time. Top half of field up to 32 players total in groups of 4 to the finals for PAPA format bracket using the same arena banks. Player count will be adjusted as needed in groups of 4 to meet field reduction > 50% of participants. Payouts will be announced at start of finals, targeting top half of finalists to make the money line.
Competition mode, extra balls off, ball save minimal or off depending on the game, and other settings adjusted and posted on the machines where applicable by the tournament directors/tilt amusements.
All games will be on freeplay throughout the day for tournament participants and other open house attendees.
NOTE: a second non-IFPA tournament will be available in the evening for those who do not make the finals, as well as for open house attendees (open house scheduled to begin at 6 pm)
