Qualifying Round: (Saturday) Each player will play two rounds of Pingolf, 18 machines in total will be played for the qualifying round. There will be 9 machines in each round and every machine is setup for 5 balls. A target score is posted to each machine for you to achieve for par. If you make the target within the 5 balls you score on how many balls it took to you reach the goal, if you do not then you score 6-10 depending on the target score formula. First round position is based off of your IFPA rank, the highest rank has pick of position first. After the first round is over you will proceed to play the next games based off your strokes on the previous games, highest strokes first/ lowest last. IFPA rank will break stroke tiebreakers for position. Playoff tiebreakers played on randomly selected hole, lowest strokes wins and stroke tiebreakers move to the next machine. All rulings and malfunctions will be based on the unified IFPA/PAPA rules.

If less than 40 players

Top 8 go to "A" finals, next 4 go to "B" finals, next 4 go to "Novice" finals.


If 40 - 80 players

Top 16 go to "A" finals, next 8 go to "B" finals, next 4 go to "Novice" finals.
