Tournament Date: November 16, 2024
Belles & Chimes Scranton will be hosting an Uncanny X-Men Launch Party on Saturday, November 16th 2024
Cost: $10 entry fee plus coin drop for machines you play. All fees distributed in cash to Top 4, prizes, and IFPA fees.
Schedule:
Doors/Registration opens: 11am
Registration closes: 11:45am
Announcements: 11:45am to 12pm
First round starts: 12pm
Qualifying: 12pm to 2pm
Break: 2pm to 2:30pm
Semi-Finals (Top 8) and Finals (Top 4): 2:30 to 5pm
Qualifying Format: Group Matchplay
Players will be paired into groups of 3 or 4 and complete as many rounds of play as time allows. Points will be awarded based on the position you finish on each game: 7/5/3/1 scoring (7/4/1 for three players groups).
Finals Format: Group Elimination
50% or less of the field will be brought into finals. Players will play 3 to 4 games with PAPA scoring (4/2/1/0) to determine Top 4.
If 16 or more players, we will bring Top 8 to semi-finals, Top 2 from each group will advance to finals.
Example:
4 games with PAPA scoring (4/2/1/0) for Top 4 if less than 16 total players.
3 games with PAPA scoring (4/2/1/0) for Top 8 if 16 or more total players.
