Join us at Ice Box Arcade for the Best Game portion of Seattle Women’s Super Weekend! Qualifying will be Best Game and Finals will be Single Elimination best of seven games.

Qualifying will be limited re-buy. Your best twelve games will count towards your standings in this Best Game format tournament. Your first buy-in of $10 will get you twelve entries, after that you can re-buy TWICE for six more entries per re-buy ($5). So, in total, you could pay $10 for twelve attempts, $15 for eighteen, or $20 for twenty-four. Bank and game info will be released closer to the event.

Scoring will be PAPA decay (100, 90, 85, 84…).

Open Qualifying Hours:

Thursday, December 5th:
1-7pm

Friday, December 6th:
1-8pm

Saturday, December 7th:
10am-12pm

FINALS will commence at 12:30pm on Saturday, December 7th.


Attendance numbers:

If 8-16 players, 4 will advance to finals.
If 17-28 players, 8 will advance to finals.
If 29-36 players, 12 will advance to finals.
If 37+ players, 16 will advance to finals.

All players advancing to finals will receive a cash prize. The payout chart will be modeled on this:

9th-16th: approximately buy-in or small amount more if pot allows
5th-8th: approximately double buy-in
4th: 10% of what remaining pot, adjusted to be appropriately more than 5th-8th prize
3rd: 20%
2nd: 30%
1st: 40%

Finals

Saturday, check-in from 12pm-12:30, start at 12:30
No additional cost besides coin drop (buy-ins were paid during qual)

Best Game finals will be a head to head best of seven games format. If there are twelve players participating, the top four seeds will have a bye, otherwise there will be no byes. The top seed in each pair will pick a starting game, then move right from there. Players may only choose the same starting game once. Top seed may defer game choice, but after game one player choice goes to the loser of the previous game. All players in the finals will receive a cash payout and the winner will receive a trophy or plaque of some kind.

The match for 3rd/4th will be a best of three round.

12 games for qual

Best-of-7 Matches for entire bracket

4 players –> 11 games towards TGP
8 players –> 17 games towards TGP
12 players –> 20 games towards TGP
16 players –> 22 games towards TGP
